I AM FREE

From Silence to Strength: My Journey Out of Domestic Violence.

There was a time I was trapped emotionally, spiritually, physically in a pit so dark I couldn’t see a way out.

But Jesus Christ, the Light of the world, reached into that darkness and pulled me out.

It wasn’t instant.

It was a process.

A painful, holy, transforming one.

But step by step, the chains began to break.

Shame loosened.

Lies fell off.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

Isaiah 61:1

I was one of those prisoners.

But Jesus didn’t just set me free.

He made me free.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36

Now I live in the light.
Even when shadows come, I know who I belong to.

The enemy tried to keep me bound in confusion, silence, and fear. But the light of Christ shattered that grip.

“For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.” Colossians 1:13

There’s no freedom like the freedom found in Jesus.

It’s not based on circumstances.

It’s not a feeling.

It’s a truth.

And the truth sets us free.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”John 8:32

So today I declare with boldness and joy: I AM FREE IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.

And if He did it for me, He can do it for you too.
